Leonard Cohen’s 2012 album Old Ideas showed that there’s still life in the legendary singer-songwriter yet and now, to mark his 80th birthday, Cohen’s releasing another new LP.
Cohen turns 80 years of age on 21 September, with Rolling Stone reporting that Popular Problems will drop on that date. Amazon France list the release date as a day later.
“Leonard has worked hard on his next studio album of entirely new songs,” Jarkko Arjatsalo - who runs Cohen’s official website - recently wrote.
There are, however, no current tour plans.
