James Murphy and co are readying a LCD Soundsystem photo book just in time for Christmas.
The book follows on from the band’s recent documentary, Shut Up And Play The Hits, and will chronicle the group’s full career in pictorial form.
Simply entitled LCD, the 216-page book will be released during December via powerHouse Books and will feature the photography of Ruvan Wijesooriya.
Murphy had the following to say of the project:
“All of Ruvan’s pictures remind me of that feeling: that you’re geographically fucked, and it’s all happening right now, somewhere else, without you. There’s an enormous amount of intimacy in them, and promise, and intrusion.”
