LCD Soundsystem "Back From The Dead" this weekend
LCD Soundsystem are playing two new shows in New York City this weekend.
James Murphy & Co. will play Webster Hall on 27 and 28 March; the shows were announced with a poster that reads: “LCD Soundsystem will rise from the dead this Easter Sunday at Webster Hall.”
The dates are being presented by the city's Panorama festival, from the same organisers as Coachella, which LCD Soundsystem are headlining in July. The band are also headlining Coachella this summer.
Tickets for the shows are being made available to fans via a lottery, with winners receiving information on how to purchase up to two tickets (although winning doesn't guarantee tickets). Winners are announced Friday morning. Find out more about ticketing.
These performances will be the band's first headline shows since their 'farewell' concert at Madisons Square Garden in 2011.
LCD Soundsystem are also set to release a new record this year.
