Watch Lazarus Kane perform for Best Fit's secret sessions at End of the Road
Lazarus Kane - who announced their split back in October - performed a cover of a song by the seminal eighties Swiss-band Grauzone at part of their secret set for The Line of Best Fit at this year's End of the Road Festival.
"Our friends at The Line Of Best Fit recorded us playing a cover of Grauzone’s ‘Eisbär’ at the End of the Road piano this year," frontman Ben Jakes explains. "It’s a song about a polar bear. We had never done a stripped back session like this before and it was really fun."
The band reveal the session alongside one final track - a demo saved from the cutting room floor.
Best Fit's secret sessions have become a key part of End of the Road each year, bringing together artists from across the line-up in a series of short sets, exlusive cover, collaborations, and live interviews and Q&As. Past guests have included Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, Moses Sumney, Alex Cameron, Laura Marling, Patti Smith, and Frightened Rabbit - who played a now iconic version of "The Modern Leper".
End Of The Road Festival host their Annual Christmas Party on 9 December at Studio 9294 with Wu-Lu, Modern Woman, Christmas Creedence Revival, Rob Auton , Loud & Quiet DJs + on more act to be announced; tickets are available now from Dice.
