Lauv unveils light-hearted new cut "Tattoos Together"
Lauv is back with another glimpse of his ~how i’m feeling~ album, in the form of light-hearted new single "Tattoos Together".
"Tattoos Together" is the ninth track to be shared from his record, after previous singles "Changes", LANY collaboration "Mean It", "Sims", "fuck, i'm lonely" featuring Anne-Marie, "Sad Forever", "Feelings", Troye Sivan collab "i'm so tired...", and "Drugs & The Internet".
Lauv's new single also arrives with an upbeat, flash mob-inspired video that appears to have been filmed in a very similar place to The 1975's "Sincerity Is Scary" visual.
He says of the video, "This is one of my favorite videos I’ve ever done cause I’ve recently done a few heavier, more existential videos but Tattoos is just straight fun the whole time....and I got to prove to the world once again that I can’t dance."
Speaking about his debut LP back in October 2019, Lauv said, "I’ve been working on this album for a long time, but today marks the true beginning of the new era. ~how i'm feeling~ is about embracing personality and all its different aspects. I created six different characters represented by purple (existential Lauv), blue (hopeless romantic Lauv), green (goofy Lauv), yellow (positive Lauv), orange (fuckboy Lauv) and red (spicy Lauv™️), all of which make up my identity. While my last project was focused on one aspect of my life, ~how i'm feeling~ is the first time I’m embracing all the parts that make me who I am."
