Lauv joins DallasK on new track "Try Again"
Producer and singer/songwriter DallasK has released new track "Try Again" today (30 July), which sees him reunite with frequent collaborator and friend Lauv.
"Try Again" is DallasK's first single of the year, and sees him link with longtime friend and collaborator Lauv, marking their first song together since DallasK contributed to Lauv's 2020 EP Without You.
Lauv and DallasK made "Try Again" during an informal recording session back in 2016 with Michael Pollack (Lizzo, Zedd, Justin Bieber), and was rediscovered by DallasK last year during lockdown. DallasK then FaceTimed Lauv and proposed a more dance-driven version of the track, and Lauv re-recorded his vocals straight after.
""Try Again" is actually the first dance record Lauv and I made together and it was super fun to create a unique record that encompasses both of our styles and influences," explains DallasK.
He adds, "Then we finished the record on a trip to Mexico for New Year’s and that’s the version you hear today!"
