Laura Marling has revealed that she has finished her upcoming new record.
Speaking in an interview to The Owl, the singer said:
“I finished writing a new album about a month ago. At the moment I’m in and out of the studio working with Ethan Johns (who produced both A Creature… & 2010′s I Speak Because I Can)…It will probably be released in about 6 months.”
The yet-untitled record will be the musician’s fourth to date, and the follow-up to latest album A Creature I Don’t Know, released back in September 2011.
While we wait for the new album to be formally announced, Marling will play the Royal Albert Hall on 7 July, where she may or may not preview some new material.
