Late Of The Pier's Sam Dust signs to Domino as LA PRIEST, announces debut single Oino
Late Of The Pier's Sam Dust has signed to Domino, and has unveiled his debut single on the label, "Oino".
This is the first material from LA PRIEST in 8 years, following a release on Erol Alkan's Phantasy Sound label in 2007. It's the first noise from Dust since Late Of The Pier disbanded in 2009 - or is it?
Apparently, after being holed up in Greenland for a year in 2010 "studying the effects of the Ivittuut region's electro-magnetic phenomena on recorded sound," he made "more than five secret uncredited projects", some of which may or may not be in the public consciousness already, totally unbeknownst to all but Dust.
LA PRIEST will drop "Oino" on 30 March via Domino.
