Hailing from Toulouse, French trio Las Aves makes music half-way between a '90s rave and the heavier sound of labelmates The Dø.
The band's musical style nods to French electronic elders Justice with hints of M.I.A.. Produced by Dan Levy of The Dø, their first album Die In Shanghai takes you for an intense merry-go-round ride, slowing down to better spin you back again.
To celebrate its upcoming UK release, Las Aves have cooked up "Antistar", a catchy bass-driven electronic pop number topped off with a nonchalantly-delivered melodies.
Buy or stream "Antistar" now. Las Aves will play London and industry fest The Great Escape in Brighton this month.
