Lapalux teams up with Louisahhh on new single "Rotted Arp", the first from LP3 Ruinism
Lapalux has announced his third record Ruinism and shared new Louisahhh collaboration "Rotted Arp".
Ruinism follows 2015's Lustmore. Other guests on the LP include GABI, Talvi, and Best Fit One To Watch JFDR (aka Jófríður Ákadóttir of Gangly, Pascal Pinon, and Samaris)
"'Ruinism' is a made-up term I use to describe the way in which blended sound palettes and inspirations interact with one another to form this album," the UK producer explains of the title. "['Rotted Arp'] sums up the whole idea of this record… having Louisahhh’s vocals made me think of this track as a much more meaningful piece and helped me push it further and further into a developed abstract dance track."
Marielle Tepper serves as Creative Director on Ruinism.
Lapalux is set to play three "showcases" next month in Paris, Berlin, and London - the latter takes place at Mick's Garage on 25 May.
