LANY unveil new single "heart won't let me" with third album mama's boy
LANY release their third album mama's boy today along with "heart won't let me", the fifth single from the LP.
Following the release of lead single "good guys" in May, and three more singles, "heart won't let me" is the fifth track to be lifted from the band's latest full-length record.
Thematically the new album is a homage to the band's roots. A tribute to heritage, Americana and family, band leader Paul Klein explains how the notion of home came to mind; “someone asked me where I was from and somewhere, out of my spirit, I just said ‘Man, I’m from Oklahoma!’ It was a weird sense of pride, to be from the middle of nowhere.”
Complete with a music video, the new track and the album's release come fresh following the announcement of new UK and Ireland tour dates for September 2021 which conclude with a night at the Eventim Apollo in London.
