Land Of Talk share tender new single "Compelled"
Land Of Talk are back with "Compelled", the second single to be lifted from their forthcoming album Indistinct Conversations.
"Compelled" follows on from February's lead single "Weight of That Weekend", and sees vocalist Elizabeth Powell sing about wanting to steal someone from a bad relationship.
Powell explains, ""Compelled" is about being deeply attracted to someone who is in a (toxic) relationship, and wishing things were different."
Indistinct Conversations will be the band's first album since 2017's Life After Youth, and will feature 11 tracks all written by Powell. She also produced and arranged the album with the help of bandmates Mark "Bucky" Wheaton (drums/keys) and Christopher McCarron (bass). The LP was recorded in a studio built by McCarron in Wheaton’s apartment basement.
