Lana Del Rey to star in 30-minute theatrical music video called 'Tropico'
Singer Lana Del Rey will star in a forthcoming short film ‘Tropico,’ which she recently tweeted a few details about, only adding to her already established mysterious persona.
The “Video Games” singer recently tweeted the following:
TROPICO – a 30 minute film coming to a city near your. Premier dates coming soon. Lots of Love, Lana Del Rey
— Lana Del Rey (@LanaDelRey) July 27, 2013
Here is a promotional picture she also tweeted, revealing Rick Rubin as a producer and three songs which will appear in the film (i.e. “Body Electric,” “Gods and Monsters,” and “Bel Air” from her EP Paradise):
So essentially, the film looks like a three-fer music video you can watch at a movie theater. Neat!
