Before Elizabeth Grant created her now infamous Lana Del Rey stage name she was simply known as Lizzy Grant, and in 2010 Lizzy Grant released her debut album. Now with Born To Die due out next Monday (30 January) the ‘Video Games’ singer has revealed she bought back the rights to her original debut Lana Del Ray A.K.A. Lizzy Grant and will be re-releasing it, perhaps as early as this summer.
Speaking to the BBC she said: “People act like it’s so shrouded in mystery, the ‘forgotten terrible album’.But if you look on YouTube, all 13 tracks are available with millions of views, so it’s not like no-one’s heard them. We were all proud of it. It’s pretty good.”
