Lana Del Rey soundtracks Kanye West's marriage proposal to Kim Kardashian
Kanye West announced his engagement to Kim Kardashian last night, popping the question at San Francisco’s AT&T Park baseball stadium. You’d be forgiven for thinking that he’d use one of his own tracks to mark the occasion, or even pen a song especially for the moment. But no, he actually chose a Lana Del Rey number instead.
Hold it with the ‘Gold Digger’ jokes, as TMZ report that the rapper hired a full orchestra to perform the Great Gatsby-soundtracking ‘Young & Beautiful’. Meanwhile, West projected “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!” onto the jumbotron screen.
Kanye had already sort-of asked Kardashian to marry him prior to this, calling his then-girlfriend “the type of girl that probably deserve a new last name” on ‘White Dress’.
