Almost exactly two years after the release of her hugely successful breakthrough album Born To Die, Lana Del Rey has confirmed she’s finished recording its follow-up.
The record had already been confirmed to be called Ultraviolence, with the singer now telling fans in a Twitter Q&A that the creative side of things is all done.
“The record is finished and it’s beautiful. And don’t worry you will love Ultra – it’s so wrong and exquisite”, she wrote, continuing: ”It is absolutely gorgeous – darker then the first – so dark it’s almost unlistenable and wrong. But I love it.”
No due date for the LP has yet been announced, but it is expected to drop during 2014.
