Lana Del Rey drops breezy cover of Sublime's "Doin' Time"
Lana Del Rey has covered Sublime's "Doin' Time" track that will feature in an upcoming documentary on the band.
"Doin' Time" was originally released on Sublime's self-titled third album in 1996, and now Lana Del Rey has whipped up her own version.
Lana Del Rey's take on the Sublime song will feature in an upcoming documentary on the Californian group and their history.
On her appreciation for Sublime, Lana Del Rey said, "Not a day goes by that I don’t listen to at least one Sublime song. They epitomised the SoCal vibe and made a genre and sound totally their own."
Bud Gough of Sublime added, "We are so excited to be collaborating with Lana on this, the smoky, sexy, iconic sound of her voice breathes new life into one of our favorite singles."
Lana Del Rey is still yet to release her Norman Fucking Rockwell album.
