Lady Gaga's new album Joanne is coming next month
Lady Gaga's announced her long-awaited new album Joanne - and it's coming very soon.
UPDATE 21/9: You can now watch the "Perfect Illusion" video - check it out at the bottom of the page.
Original Post: Gaga dropped the album news on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show. "It's going to be done in the next 48 hours," Gaga admitted in a chat with Lowe from the studio.
Joanne is named after Gaga's aunt.
"For me it's like the true heart and soul of the record..." she says. "The decision to name the album Joanne was ultimately in tribute to my father's sister who died when she was 19. He was younger than her and she was very sick with lupus. The death of her in his family and in his life really left a scar and a wound that never healed."

We've already heard a bunch of exciting stuff about the LP, including its first single "Perfect Illusion" and a list of special guests that stretches further than the eye can see. Gaga also said that Hillary Lindsey is involved.
Joanne is out 21 October.
