Lady Gaga to sing US national anthem at Joe Biden's inauguration
Lady Gaga has been picked to sing the US national anthem at Joe Biden’s inauguration later this month.
As New York Post reports, Lady Gaga will sing "The Star-Spangled Banner", aka the US national anthem at president-elect Joe Biden's swearing-in ceremony that takes place next week.
The inaugural committee confirmed the news to Variety today (14 January).
Jennifer Lopez is also scheduled to perform at the inauguration ceremony, with other performers yet to be revealed.
Lady Gaga backed Joe Biden in the 2020 US election, and performed her "Shallow" and "You & I" tracks at his final rally in November last year. She also gave a passionate speech in favour of Biden, which resulted in Trump calling her out.
