Lady Gaga reportedly in talks to play Harley Quinn in Joker musical sequel
According to a new report, Lady Gaga is in early talks to play Harley Quinn in Todd Phillips' Joker musical sequel.
According to a new report by The Hollywood Reporter, Lady Gaga is being considered for the role of Harley Quinn in the Joker sequel, which director Phillips revealed last week will be titled Joker: Folie à deux.
Phillips has been co-writing the script with Scott Silver, and has shown it to the studio recently. In the Instagram post shared last week, Joaquin Phoenix can be seen reading the script, but it's not been officially confirmed if he'll return for the sequel.
While Lady Gaga's involvement is only rumoured for now, sources reportedly told The Hollywood Reporter that Joker: Folie à deux will be a musical.
Phillips previously produced A Star Is Born, which starred Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
