Lady Gaga confirms role in Joker: Folie à Deux film
Lady Gaga has confirmed her involvement in the upcoming Joker film sequel Joker: Folie à Deux with a short animated trailer that reveals the 2024 release date.
Back in June it was reported that Lady Gaga was in talks to play Harley Quinn in Todd Phillips' upcoming Joker musical sequel, titled Joker: Folie à Deux, and this afternoon (4 August) she's confirmed the news with an 18-second animated trailer that also confirms Joaquin Phoenix's return.

The trailer also shared the 4 October release date, which will be exactly five years on from the Joker film release.
According to Deadline, production will begin for Joker: Folie à Deux in December.
Todd Phillips previously produced A Star Is Born, which starred Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
