Art-pop outfit STATS have reworked La Roux's sassy supernova "Cruel Sexuality" into a throbbing, skulking disco-demon.
The 12" mix is gauzy magic, stuffed with jagged, jangly guitars and warm pads. It definitely retains that dancefloor vibe, but morphs it into house party environments instead of the original's '80s discotheque ones.
