LA Priest unveils new album opener "Beginning"
LA Priest is back with "Beginning", the second single and opening track from his forthcoming album GENE.
"Beginning" arrives after LA Priest's comeback single "What Moves" that landed in January, and is accompanied by a surreal visual co-directed by LA Priest and Joseph Bird Jr..
GENE is LA Priest's second LP, after his 2015 debut Inji. The new album title comes from a brand-new analog drum machine that LA Priest, aka Sam Dust, aka Sam Eastgate, visualised and built alone.
The new record features production from Erol Alkan.
He hasn't been entirely quiet since his 2015 debut album, a year later in 2016 he united with Connan Mockasin as Soft Hair for their self-titled debut LP.
