LA Priest previews first album in five years with new single "Rubber Sky"
LA Priest has shared new single "Rubber Sky", a final preview of his forthcoming album GENE that lands on Friday (5 June).
"Rubber Sky" is the third single to be lifted from GENE, after album opener "Beginning" and comeback single "What Moves".
The new single arrives with a self-directed visual filmed in The Shed, and features an appearance from a giant replica of his self-built analog drum machine GENE, which his new album is named after.
GENE is LA Priest's second LP, after his 2015 debut Inji, and features production from Erol Alkan.
He hasn't been entirely quiet since his 2015 debut album, a year later in 2016 he united with Connan Mockasin as Soft Hair for their self-titled debut LP.
