La Luz have followed up last year's self-titled album with new track "Endless Afternoon", which the band's Shana Cleveland describes as a "California lullaby".
"Endless Afternoon" is the band's first release of 2022, and will feature on a 7" single with a second new song titled "San Fernando Shadow Blues", which will arrive on streaming services on 14 June.
La Luz's Shana Cleveland says the new outing is a "California lullaby. The melody for this song came to me while I was hiking in the hills above the Yuba River. About the sweetness found in slow days close to home."
The new track is La Luz's first new material since their 2021 fourth album La Luz.
"Endless Afternoon" is available on digital platforms now. The 7" single will arrive 7 July via Hardly Art, and is available to pre-order now. La Luz will play London's Lafayette on 12 July. Visit luzer.online/shows for tickets.
