Kyla La Grange returns with thumping candy-coated club track "So Sweet"
Kyla La Grange is back with a massive new cut called "So Sweet", furthering the electro advancements she made on last year's Cut Your Teeth.
Speaking about the infectious new cut, La Grange says: "I wrote 'So Sweet' in my kitchen when I was feeling really happy and in love. I started out with this arpeggiated jerky tuba type sound that I really liked but then wanted the choruses to feel a bit more cinematic with the dreamy guitars and harmonies, so there is kind of a weird contrast between the verses and the choruses, but I like it... I guess 150bpm is pretty fast for a four-to-the-floor track but I think it's because I felt kind of buzzy when I was writing it. I never really wrote a love song before... at least not one that wasn't sad.”
The new single is released tomorrow (16 September).
As well as the new single, La Grange has also detailed her biggest headling show yet - at London's Oval Space on 19 November.
