Kurt Vile announces new shows with The Violators
Kurt Vile has announced a mammoth run of new European tour dates, including two nights at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire in November.
Vile's new shows will see him accompanied by long-time collaborators The Violators (Rob Laakso, Kyle Spence, and Jesse Trbovich) - it'll be their first shows in the UK and Europe in two years. The tour starts on 12 October at Grünspan in Hamburg, Germany and finishes on 14 November at Dublin's Vicar Street.
Kurt Vile's latest release, a collaborative record with Courtney Barnett, was released in 2017. His most recent solo album was 2015's b’lieve i’m goin down.
As well as the new shows, his label (Matador Records) has been posting some faux-political signs saying "Vile '18" - is this just promo for the shows or a tease of something else...?
