Krept & Konan postpone Revenge Is Sweet tour following assault in Birmingham
Krept & Konan have announced that they'll be postponing their Revenge Is Sweet tour until January for Krept to make a full recovery following a backstage assault at Birmingham's 1Xtra Live event.
Krept, real name Casyo Johnson, was treated on-site after being stabbed backstage at the BBC Radio 1Xtra Live event in Birmingham earlier this month.
The rap duo were supposed to play seven shows across the UK in support of their new album beginning on 23 November, but Krept has announced that the tour will be pushed back to January so he can make a full recovery.
Johnson wrote on Instagram, "I've been having complications with my leg since and have been back and forth to the hospital and doctors. My doctor has told me if I tour next month, I could risk more complications. I need to make a full recovery because you know on tour it gets wild and what we have planned requires 100% strength."
He adds, "Seven shows back to back in November is not physically possible for me. I don't wanna collapse on stage lol. So i've had to move the tour to January. The O2 in December will remain but all other dates will be moved."
