Iconic synth manufacturers KORG have announced the Monologue, a brand new synthesizer with presets, sounds, and scales designed by Aphex Twin.
KORG's website describes the Monologue as a "fully programmable, analog synthesi[zer] for all players; Monologue is the next-generation monophonic synthesizer that shares the spirit of the acclaimed Minilogue, with a completely new voice and powerful new features."
In the (lengthy) product details, KORG also reveal that they brought legendary producer Aphex Twin on board: "[he] has come on board as advisor for the implementation and also to offer scales, sounds and sequences as part of the factory presets."
There 25 keys and 100 program memories (80 presets), with the same 16-step sequencer and OLED oscilloscope found on the Minilogue.
The synth will be available in five colours, with aluminium plating and wooden panelling. It runs on batteries. You can read the full specifications now.
