Kojey Radical announces debut album featuring Tiana Major9, Wretch 32, Kelis and more
Kojey Radical has announced his long-awaited debut album Reason To Smile, which will include collaborations with Tiana Major9, Wretch 32, Kelis and more.
After releasing "Gangsta" and Lex Amor collaboration "War Outside" as the first tasters of his debut album, Kojey Radical has shared details of the record, which is titled Reason To Smile.
The album will feature 15 songs in total, and the likes of Tiana Major9, Kelis, Shakka and Wretch 32, Masego, Shaé Universe, Ego Ella May, Knucks and more will make appearances alongside production contributions from KZ, Swindle, Jay Prince, iO, The FaNaTiX, Cadenza, 169, Venna, Ric & Thadeus, Blue Lab Beats, Emil Larbi, Mr Cutts and Ed Thomas.
Speaking about his debut album, Kojey Radical said, "This is the first time I've done it to the scale and ambition of what I speak. Previously it's been "I'm warming, I'm warming, I'm warming up". But I'm warm now - put me in the game."
On socials, Kojey Radical wrote of the album, "The whole time I was making this album it felt like there was a lot to be happy about in my life and everyone could see it but me. A lot of this album was spent trying to remind myself of all the reasons I had to smile. Going back to what and who inspired me."
I still can’t believe I’m saying this but… My debut ALBUM “Reason To Smile” is available to pre-order right now! And will be officially released MARCH 4TH 2022. https://t.co/WT679Fo0Z6 pic.twitter.com/lduhfI8y3R
