Koffee, WSTRN and more join lineup for 2020 online edition of Notting Hill Carnival
Koffee, WSTRN and more are due to perform for Notting Hill Carnival 2020: Access All Areas this month, the first online edition of the legendary Notting Hill Carnival.
For the first time in its 54-year history, Notting Hill Carnival is moving entirely online for 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
After confirming the Notting Hill Carnival: Access All Areas event (which will take place this weekend across four separate channels) last month, today (24 August), organisers have unveiled the first artists on the lineup.
The lineup includes Jamaica's Koffee and Protoje, Africa's Davido, Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade, the UK's Ms Banks, WSTRN, Stylo G, Omar, TriniBoi Joocie, Ras Asheber, and more artists from Barbados, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago.
The artists confirmed today (24 August) will appear on 'The Main Stage', which will be hosted on Channel 4 of Notting Hill Carnival 2020: Access All Areas by BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Ace and Remel London from 8pm-11pm on Sunday (30 August) and Monday (31 August).
As well as boasting a diverse lineup, the three-day digital event will include steel bands, sound systems, Mas bands, Brazilian bands, Calypso and Soca performers, food and drink shows, Q+A's, and much more.
