Kllo look on the bright side on beat-rich electro tune "Downfall"
Melbourne cousins Kllo (Chloe Kaul and Simon Lam) continue their hot streak with "Downfall", a euphoric electro ballad with huge heart and huger beats.
"The Sunshine Coast represents this space for me, I wanted to visually explore the warmth and comfort that only a nostalgic environment can provide and how that sense of emotional isolation is represented in the surrounds," director Freya Esders says.
"Downfall" joins up with recent jam "Virtue" to preview the duo's debut long-player Backwater.
"We wrote it on a balcony in Croatia overlooking the water," say Kllo. "It was very beautiful there, warm and still. We were in a good space, reflecting on everything we'd gone through, but also how much we'd grown through making Backwater. It's a reminder to not get too caught up in your head, to not dwell on the negative things."
Kllo head to Europe this autumn for a string of dates, with shows in London, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds, and Nottingham confirmed. Find out more.
