Fife songwriter King Creosote is set to release a new album this summer, entitled From Scotland With Love.
The musician’s first major release since his Mercury-nominated collaboration with Jon Hopkins back in 2011, From Scotland With Love will surface via Domino come 21 July.
A press release describes “themes of love and loss, war, resistance, emigration, work and play”, with the LP an “audio-accompaniment to a poetic documentary film of the same name”.
You can check out an album trailer below, with King Creosote performing live at a screening of said film at London’s Barbican Centre on 27 September. Tickets for that are available here.
