Kimbra's new album features Childish Gambino, Dave Longstreth, and more
Childish Gambino, Dirty Projectors' Dave Longstreth, and Skrillex are guests on Primal Heart, the upcoming album from New Zealand's Kimbra.
As well as announcing the new album, the follow up to 2014's The Golden Echo, Kimbra has shared the captivating lead single "Everybody Knows" - produced with John Congleton (St. Vincent, Explosions In The Sky).
"There’s always been amazing people I’m working with and bringing into the circle but in a way I’ve been intentional about this record being quite a focus less on features and more about my message,” Kimbra tells triple j. "It’s definitely been a journey of different people coming through the studio but less from the point of collaborations with other vocalists and more just bringing their sound in on the background... it’s more a cast of characters."
