Kim Gordon unveils jarring new cut "Paprika Pony"
Kim Gordon has returned with new single "Paprika Pony", the third to be shared from her forthcoming debut solo album No Home Record.
"Paprika Pony" arrives after "Air BnB" and last month's lead single "Sketch Artist".
Gordon's No Home Record album will also feature her 2016 debut solo single "Murdered Out".
No Home Record was largely produced by Justin Raisen (Charli XCX, Ariel Pink, Sky Ferreira) at Sphere Ranch in Los Angeles. The album features contributions from Shawn Everett (Jim James, The Voidz, The War on Drugs) and composer/filmmaker Jake Meginsky (L’appel Du Vide).
Speaking about her new album, Gordon says, "Why a solo record? And why now? I don’t know, but it wouldn’t have happened without the persistence of Justin Raisen. Living in LA the last few years it feels like home, but the transience of the place makes it feel sometimes like no home."
Gordon has also been announced as a keynote speaker for next year's SXSW conference.
