Kim Gordon shares vicious new track "Hungry Baby"
Kim Gordon has shared heavy new track "Hungry Baby" from her debut solo album No Home Record.
"Hungry Baby" is the fourth track to be lifted from No Home Record, after "Paprika Pony", "Air BnB" and "Sketch Artist".
Gordon's No Home Record album will also feature her 2016 debut solo single "Murdered Out".
No Home Record was largely produced by Justin Raisen (Charli XCX, Ariel Pink, Sky Ferreira) at Sphere Ranch in Los Angeles. The album features contributions from Shawn Everett (Jim James, The Voidz, The War on Drugs) and composer/filmmaker Jake Meginsky (L’appel Du Vide).
In a new interview with The Guardian, Gordon revealed she was once jailed at Disneyland for smoking marijuana on Tom Sawyer's island. Gordon says they were taken "underground" to a place which had "Mickey Mouse with a walkie-talkie", before being asked by the officers: "Does your mother know you’re not wearing a bra?"
Gordon added, "I was writing this paper in my head about Disneyland and how fascist it was. It confirmed my beliefs about American consumerism."
