Kim Gordon blasts back with new cut "Air BnB"
Kim Gordon has returned with "Air BnB", the second single from her debut solo album No Home Record.
"Air BnB" lands after last month's foreboding lead single "Sketch Artist", and arrives with another visual directed by Loretta Fahrenholz.
Gordon's No Home Record album will also feature her 2016 debut solo single "Murdered Out".
No Home Record was largely produced by Justin Raisen (Charli XCX, Ariel Pink, Sky Ferreira) at Sphere Ranch in Los Angeles. The album features contributions from Shawn Everett (Jim James, The Voidz, The War on Drugs) and composer/filmmaker Jake Meginsky (L’appel Du Vide).
Speaking about her new album, Gordon says, "Why a solo record? And why now? I don’t know, but it wouldn’t have happened without the persistence of Justin Raisen. Living in LA the last few years it feels like home, but the transience of the place makes it feel sometimes like no home."
