Kikagaku Moyo announce final album with first single "Cardboard Pile"
Kikagaku Moyo have announced their final album before going on an indefinite hiatus, Kumoyo Island, and have shared "Cardboard Pile" as the first preview of the record.
"Cardboard Pile" is Kikagaku Moyo's first new outing since teaming up with Ryley Walker last year on Deep Fried Grandeur, and is accompanied by a Katsushika Shusshin-diirected video.
The new single is also the first preview of Kikagaku Moyo's fifth album Kumoyo Island, which will follow 2018's Masana Temples and will be their final album before going on an indefinite hiatus.
Much of the album came together at Tsubame Studios in Asakusabashi, Tokyo, the same location where they recorded their earliest material.
