Kid Cudi and Eminem join forces on new track "The Adventures Of Moon Man and Slim Shady"
Kid Cudi has teamed up with Eminem on "The Adventures Of Moon Man and Slim Shady", which sees Eminem rap about COVID-19, George Floyd and more.
"The Adventures Of Moon Man and Slim Shady" marks the first collaboration between Kid Cudi and Eminem.
In the new single, Eminem slams those that refuse to wear masks during the pandemic, "Fuck's going on man? / Bunch of half wits up in office / Half of us walkin' around like a zombie apocalypse / Other half are just pissed off and / Don't wanna wear a mask and they're just scoffin' / And that's how you end up catching the shit off 'em."
Eminem also references the killings of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery, "And it's non-stop fury / 'Cause I ain't holdin' them up like an armed robbery / And God's my jury so when I die I'm not worried / Prayers to George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery / How the fuck is it that so many cops are dirty / Stop man please officer I'm sorry / But I can't breathe when I got you on top of me / Your god damn knee's in my carotid artery."
The new track is Kid Cudi's first release since teaming up with Travis Scott on "THE SCOTTS" in April.
Last month Kid Cudi shared a teaser trailer for a new Kids See Ghosts animated TV show featuring Kanye West.
