Kickstarter campaign attempts to launch electronic drum kit poster
The worlds first interactive drum kit poster could be launched if a Kickstarter campaign reaches its £40,000 target.
The product is created by Novalia, a London-based design and engineering team, who have integrated the use of touch screen technology with the printed page to make an electronic drum kit you can hang on your wall. Although the product is not completely ground breaking, it will be the first time the technology has been used in this way.
If Novalia receive the funding, they will offer two posters for sale, one with a built in speaker and the other with Bluetooth connectivity which will connect with iPad and iPhones to play the sounds.
Currently Novalia have received only £4390 of their £40,000 target, with the goal hoping to be reached by 29 August . If successful, the posters will start at £50 and will begin shipping from November of this year.
Novalia also plan to offer exclusive Kickstarter limited edition posters, as well as a poster printed on grapheme, a material that is “stronger than diamond, more flexible than rubber and more conductive than copper”.
