Khalid unveils Disclosure-produced new single "Talk"
Khalid's new single "Talk" sees British duo Disclosure take the reins on production.
"Talk" is the first single from Khalid since releasing his Suncity EP last year. Speaking to Zane Lowe on his Apple Music Beats 1 show, Khalid says of the track, "I feel like there's so much love behind the song. "Can we just talk about where we're going, before we get lost?" Definitely the beginning honeymoon stages of a relationship and the song's just so much fun. So, I love the song, man."
It also marks the first new offering from electronica duo Disclosure this year, having linked with Friendly Fires for "Heaven Let Me In", as well as releasing five tracks in five days last August.
Khalid said of the collaboration, "I met up with Disclosure, they played me this crazy-ass instrumental. I hopped on it for sure, and made one my favourite songs I've ever been a part of, so I really thank them for that, too."
He also revealed that his next album will be arriving "before Coachella, for sure." Listen to the interview in full below.
