Kevin Parker buys Australian studio where Tame Impala recorded debut album Innerspeaker
Kevin Parker has bought Wave House, the Australian studio where Tame Impala recorded their 2010 debut album Innerspeaker.
The Wave House in Yallingup, Western Australia has been sold to Kevin Parker, the same studio where Tame Impala recorded their debut LP Innerspeaker and 2015's Currents.
Music producer Ken Eichenberg built the studio in the 1980s, which has since hosted recording sessions with Beastie Boys, The Waifs, Fatboy Slim and more.
According to Property Observer, Parker and his wife Sophie Lawrence bought Wave House for $2.75 million AUD (approx £1.52million).
The main Wave House building is spread over three levels with four bedrooms and a main living area. The second residence has another two bedrooms.
