Kero Kero Bonito release cover of Late Of The Pier's "Heartbeat"
Kero Kero Bonito have released their cover of Late Of The Pier's "Heartbeat" that was recorded for the Save Stereogum benefit album earlier this year.
Kero Kero Bonito, along with Rostam, The National, Sharon Van Etten, El-P, Julien Baker, Car Seat Headrest, Benjamin Gibbard (Death Cab For Cutie), Mac DeMarco, PUP, Nothing, Soccer Mommy, Clipping, TOPS, Ty Segall, Wye Oak, Waxahatchee, and more, recorded covers for the Save Stereogum: An ‘00s Covers Comp, which was released exclusively to those that helped support Stereogum.
On Christmas Day (25 December) Kero Kero Bonito made their cover of Late Of The Pier's "Heartbeat" - which featured on the band's 2008 debut album Fantasy Black Channel - available as a free download.
Their cover of "Heartbeat" follows August's remix of Metronomy's "The Light".
Earlier this month Rostam released his cover of The Strokes' "Under Control", also originally recorded for the Save Stereogum benefit album.
