Kendrick Lamar pays tribute to Virgil Abloh at Louis Vuitton Paris show
Earlier today (23 June) Kendrick Lamar paid tribute to the late Virgil Abloh during the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring-Summer 2023 Show in Paris while sitting in the front row with Naomi Campbell.
The Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring-Summer 2023 Show in Paris opened with a performance from The Marching 100 band, and as the models entered the catwalk, Kendrick Lamar soundtracked the show with renditions of songs from his latest album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers while sat in the front row next to Naomi Campbell.
While the first few models walked, a lengthy orchestral instrumental from the intro of "Father Time" played, while Lamar repeated "Virgil". He also performed "Savior", "Rich Spirit", "Count Me Out", and "N95" with the added lyrics of "Long live Virgil".
