Keel Her announces debut album, premieres new track “Don't Look At Me”
-
For a while, Keel Her‘s Rose Keeler-Schäffeler has been sharing a consistently promising stream of hazy, lo-fi pop, steadily garnering a committed Soundcloud following – but only now, as new single “Don’t Look At Me” is unveiled, has her debut LP finally been confirmed.
All submerged vocals, tumbledown beats and a melody line plucked from a battered Strat, “Don’t Look At Me” is curiously breezy for a winter release, yet clings just close enough to melancholy to provide bittersweet reminders of summer through the cold nights ahead.
“Don’t Look At Me” will be released via Critical Heights on download and 7″ on 6 January 2014, and you can check it out below.
