Keaton Henson unleashes surprise electronic album and project, Behaving
Keaton Henson has revealed his debut album as Behaving, his electronic alter-ego.
It's called Behaving, and is a massive leap from the often tender, sometimes harrowing sounds of Henson's 'standard' output. It's still hugely emotional and rewarding, however, so fans of his guitar-based work should be enamoured by that at the very least.
XLRBR, who are premiering the album, explain the record's creation: "The album and project was birthed after two years of intensive work on his third album and his first collection of classical compositions, Romantic Works, which was surprise-released on the same day of Henson’s headlining show at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall... emotionally exhausted, Henson retreated inside, both physically and emotionally, and crafted nine superbly written, improvised cuts that would form Behaving."
Check out the record in full via XLRBR. It's out now.
