Katy Perry teams up with Migos on extended metaphor "Bon Appétit"
Katy Perry's back with "Bon Appétit", a dancefloor-poised belter with Perryisms aplenty.
The single arrives in the wake of "Chained To The Rhythm", a glistening fun-pop tune full of semi-political statements and #deep thoughts. This new jam is a deliciously different beast, with clubby synths and a barrage of raunch-lathered lyrics - it's the new album's "Birthday" or "Peacock", and like those tracks it's got the impossibly thinly veiled innuendo Perry's famous for.
Perry's previous album Prism arrived in 2013 - so by the time her next record is out, we'll have had "Roar" and "Dark Horse" rattling around our heads for four years. Sure, we had Olympics anthem "Rise" and that Christmassy thingy in 2015, but nothing proper for almost half a decade.
Katy Perry is playing Glastonbury this summer but somehow she's not headlining.
