What better way to announce your new album than emblazoning an articulated lorry in gold lamé?
Indeed, in an unexpected viral campaign that hit the internets as the UK slept, Katy Perry confirmed via Twitter that the stunt was indeed to reveal the title and release date of her fourth album.
Album! “@MsGraceValerie: New album or new single?☺ #KatyPerry http://t.co/VUOnEkBHAB”
— Katy Perry (@katyperry) July 30, 2013
The follow up to 2010′s Teenage Dream, Prism will be released via Capitol on 22 October with usual suspects Max Martin, Dr Luke and Greg Wells returning as collaborators.
