Katy B shares "I Wanna Be", a new collaboration with Chris Lorenzo
Katy B has shared new single "I Wanna Be", a collaboration with Birmingham producer Chris Lorenzo.
This latest offering links up with Craig David and Major Lazer collab "Who Am I", "Honey" (produced by Kaytranada), and "Calm Down", a track with Floating Points and Four Tet, in previewing B's upcoming project Honey.
Speaking to The FADER recently, B said of "I Wanna Be": “When I heard Chris' beat, I felt quite euphoric… like it'd be in that moment when you're with someone you like and end up kissing them. When you decide not to play it cool but just go for it...”
Honey is out 29 April on Rinse/Virgin EMI. B will play her biggest London show to date on 14 May at Brixton Academy.
