Kate Tempest announces new album with lead single "Firesmoke"
Kate Tempest has announced her fourth album, The Book of Traps and Lessons, alongside revealing lead single "Firesmoke".
"Firesmoke" is Kate Tempest's first new single since 2016's Let Them Eat Chaos.
Speaking about the new single, Tempest says, "I think of the song like a cleansing moment in the wider context of the record, in the same way that a relationship can be a cleansing moment in the wider context of a life. A kind of a turning point. I wrote it for my woman. Inspired by her and everything that falling in love with her has taught me."
Tempest's upcoming album The Book of Traps and Lessons saw Tempest and longtime collaborator Dan Carey work with legendary producer Rick Rubin.
